Sorry about the lack of comments on the blogs .. I bought a new computer back in October and I'm just now in the process of getting it running ...soooo that means I will be off line for a little bit .. well except for those days that I'm at work of course!! ha!

For those of you that watch Can*da's Next T*p M*del make sure you watch this season's show which starts May 30th and those that don't watch..... Maybe I can give you reason to watch .. Ryan's first cousin GIN@ made the finals .. if you go to the website you'll see her .. anyways Ry didn't want me to tell anyone cause he hates the show with all the catty women ... he's praying that she isn't one of those ... ha ha ha ... I'm happy cause I do watch it and now Ry HAS to too!

Baseball season has started here in the hoof ... Ryan's team (the KNIGHTS) and my old team (TEAM NIKE) are tied for 1st place .. I have to admit that it's harder then I thought to just watch everyone play knowing that I will never play ball again .. oh well I do enjoy taking Linden down to watch his Dad and watching Linden get on the field with his batting helmet, baseball and his own bat .. we are still looking for some cleats ... I will live through his eyes ... this little guy can hit a ball all the way to short-stop! We will really impress the Chinese team this year at the Canada Cup .. oh that reminds me LKW could you hook me up with some tickets?!?
On the same topic .. it's the ballapalooza tournament Jun 1-3 in Vanderhoof .. my family is bringing a team from Quesnel with a possible pick up from Stewart .. should be a great weekend .. love to have all the visitors staying at our house .. Uncle P cooks up a wonderful breakfast!

Mother's Day was good .. well a little weird .. I usually have the family over for dinner and a little gift exchange but this year Ryan and I bought tickets to some hockey games in PG and Nana and Pa looked after Linden not to mention did some yard work at our house and the laundry, some dusting, some floor washing, dishes, watered the plants, took care of the dogs ... shall I go on?! I did get a card to my Momma and Mother-in-law .. and I did make them both a strawberry pie !! That doesn't come close to telling them how much they mean to us but I think they know !!!

So we now are the owners of a 1,000,000 dog named SAGE .. yes this dog was at the vet again last week ... he some how managed to jab a stick into his groin .. only costing us a measly $500 .. but when added with the torn ACL surgery, the fiberglass in the eye appointment, the pulled chest muscules, the taking care of breeding surgery, etc .. were sitting up at the $5,000 mark! Anyone thinking of getting a pet ... make sure you are aware of the "hidden" costs! Sageee we love you but could you please be more careful ... Momma needs a new pair of shoes and you seem to be spending all the cash!

I have to mention my brother Matty .. he's in school right now (2nd year of his electrical apprentice) and doing a fab job .. Ter just called my parents yesterday and said that Matt just got 95% on his last exam ... soooo good .. I know that Matt works really hard to get these grades and I'm glad it's paying off! Good work Matty .. you're AWESOME!

On the work front our trainee just QUIT .. yes the one that we've been training for the last 2 1/2 months ... yep apparently she got another job and just left us hang'in, she said that the job was to complicated and she didn't really want to learn it .. the person she was training for (K) is on maternity leave as of Aug 1st and her job is very very intense with tons of responsibilitie .. that leaves us with only 2 months to train .. can you say FREAK'IN OUT!! Anyone need a job!?!?!?
