APPRENTICE

Linden gets to spend so much time with his Pa ... he's learning tons of things and he's lov'in it. He is very good at hammering nails, loves to measure things, always is checking that Pa's work is level ... would like to cut the pieces of wood with Pa's BIG saw if Pa would let him. His favorite tool is the cordless drill in fact it takes Pa twice as long to build somthing cause Linden has to screw EVERY screw ! Linden doesn't know how lucky he is to have grandparents that live in the same town or in the same house for that matter. I only wished I would have spent more time with my grandparents ... now it's too late.

I'm not much of a scrapbooker BUT I might have to do a little something up for Christmas for Linden's Pa .... I have tons and tons of pics with them working together... it's so cute~

It's Official!

The Spencer's house is officially under construction and Linden is working on the path to Nana and Pa's house! Please check back for updates and progress.

Loving the parents living with us. We have the best tenants that a landlord could ask for! I come home from work to find dinner all ready, house spotless, laundry washed dryed and folded .. just have to grab and put away .. L has golfed .. played some baseball, had a good game of basketball and has done some sort of craft ... oh and usually he has helped his Nana make some sort of muffin, cake, pie etc! After dinner Pa usually heads outside to continue on with our yard work. Life is good. ... we just have to figure out a way to slow the building process down ..... not sure what we'll do once these guys are gone !!

Another Summary!

Have to yell out a birthday wish to my sister-in-law "T" .... hope you had a great time on your special day (June 1st). My description of T would be .. great mother, great wife (always stands by my brother and help him with everything including all his school work), very supportive, athletic, a great volleyball player, a good friend, very determined (she lost something like 75lbs after having her 1st child, she ROCKS), very smart (the girl is an accountant), T is a daugther, sister, sister-in-law, cousin, mother, auntie, wife etc .. she wears a lot of hats and does a fab job with all ! I love her and am happy to have her in our family!!

Speaking of family .. everyone was up last weekend for the ball tourney. We had a blast as we always do with those crazy Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and all their friends! The family team came in 2nd place and drove away with hangovers, sunburns and some cash ... just the way they like it!! Can't wait till next year.

Ryan is struggling with school .. he's in his 3rd week and is hating it .. his teacher is a giant J*CK*SS .. apparently he has been taken to the 'dean' of the school every year for the past 5 years for his teaching or should I say lack of it!! Poor Ry .. he was looking forward to the break of school rather then work but now can't wait for the 10 weeks to be over with! He is studying at least 1 hour a night and when he has an exam it's more like 3-4 hours and he still isn't getting his usual grades .. this teacher loves to see people struggle so asking for help is just about out of the question!!?

Ry's cousin Gin* is still in the running to becoming C*nada's next top model .. watch her wednesday night! If you watched the first episode you would have seen that she is SUPER camera shy .. not such a great thing for a model but nice for the family .. we didn't have to watch her blabbing her mouth off about everything and everybody like other contestants!!

Been working like dogs at home in the yard ... I now have a 40' brick flower bed filled with sand, top soil, and perennials... a 22' x 22' deck in the back yard (very nice) .. another flower bed to the left of the drive way filled with all the dirt and flowers too ..

I will post some pics soon!

Things still to do ..... handrail on the front and back porches .. a couple more flower beds .. plant grass in the back yard, build a play ground, build the skating rink, some rock work, build a garden shed, etc .. etc .. etc .. good thing we have a 5 year plan!!! Oh and thank goodness we have a real handy man as our slave .. yep that would be my Dad .. he just doesn't stop .. he works a 12 hour day comes home eats and is outside doing things around our yard. GOD BLESS HIM!!!

I would like to welcome the new baby to the family .. M & L had a beautiful healthy baby girl .. her name is ...??!?!? can't tell .. well unless L gives me permission .. I think the name is very pretty and it's fairly simple .. Linden can say it plain as day! Just received a email with baby "D's" picture .. soooo cute! Congrats .. can't wait to meet ya ... only one more month!!

"L" wasn't listening to his Dad so Ry decided that when L*inden asked him a question he wouldn't listen either ..

Why aren't you listening to me Daddy ?? L asked

Well cause I don't have my "listening" ears on !! Ry replied

Here Daddy, L says with his 2 fists closed, face up

Ry - L if that's garbage you put it away

It's not garbage Daddy, as he opens up his fists ..

Well what is it L ??
